Grandma Elsie's Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon each salt, baking soda
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mashed bananas, mix well, add water and vanilla, mix, and add dry ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased 9x5 bread pan at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle tests clean.
